HEART will be having a raffle at our TACK SALE on Saturday, November 28th. We are selling raffle tickets for $1.00 and two items will be raffled off: a $100 gift certificate to The Saddle Shop and the other item is 10 bales of hay.
Be sure and buy your raffle ticket today. Tickets will also be available for purchase the day of the tack sale. Drawing will be held at the end of the day (approx. 1 pm), winner need not be present to win.
We would like to thank Heather Rowe for her support of HEART of Tucson, she has been amazing. We would like to also thank Clay Harper for the support he has given to us. Also Lupita Maria for the story she did for HEART and the list goes on and on. We are so thankful that you all get us out there to the public so that they can see that we are here and that they can help in making a difference for a horse in need. And most of all we would like to thank the people that have listened to their words and have come forward to help HEART of Tucson help horses and people in need. One more great big thank you to all the volunteers that come out here and help us take care of these wonderful animals, YOU ARE AWESOME, AND WE THANK YOU !!!!!
We are so excited about the tack sale to be held at the Tucson Feeds new store in front of Pantano Stables on Houghton Rd. We hope to see you all there. Even if you don’t need anything we would love to hear your stories, and tell you some of ours. It will be a fun get together and we are looking forward to making new friends as well as seeing our old ones. We want to be a rescue here that lets everyone be a part of it. Even if you don’t have room to house a horse, you can help us with the ones we have here and continue to get. The horses need you in anyway that you can, even if it is to come out and sponsor one, or spend time with them and brush them. We can help these animals together. And together we can help so many more.
Today HEART got to go do another hay run for a family that was in need of hay. This place warmed my heart. This wonderful lady called for the help and we got her hay out to her for her horses that she has had for a long time. one was 25 yrs old and the other was 20, and the baby they called her was 12yrs old. She was born into this women’s arms. They all looked so happy in there home and you could see clearly that they were very loved. How can you not help people like that? The pay it forward was there immediately because she took us to her tack room and donated some tack for our tack sale. Believe me when I tell you what goes around comes around, she will make it possible for others in need like her to be able to receive the hay they need to keep going a little longer till they can get back on there feet. The world is a much better place when we can all help each other. This program works, thank you to the people that donated the hay so that we could pay it forward.
